Recently, Honghua Company's carefully cultivated automotive industry chain projects have yielded results as quickly as bamboo shoots after a spring rain. Various supporting products for these projects have seen continuous increases, and the automotive parts injection molding production is bustling.
Due to the strict odor control requirements for injection molded parts in automotive projects, the current production auxiliary equipment drying bins have low efficiency, high power consumption, incomplete drying of plastic particles, and insufficient odor volatilization. To ensure product quality, reduce energy consumption, and improve reputation, Honghua Company organized the workshop technical team to optimize the drying bin fan, heating tube control system, and temperature control process. A temperature control module was added to automatically adjust the power output of the heating rod and fan according to the real-time temperature, keeping the bin temperature precisely at the set value. This achieves "true servo" closed-loop control of the drying process, ensuring that the plastic particles are fully dried while odors are thoroughly volatilized.
After the renovation, the electricity consumption of 5 modified devices running continuously for 144 hours was monitored. Data analysis shows that the energy saving rate after the renovation is 46%, and the product odor test passed on the first attempt. This lays a solid foundation for the sprint to the fourth quarter and the new journey.
